A Family Affair in Paris!
Paris, the City of Light, has inspired countless guides, books, and articles, each promising the perfect Parisian experience. With so much information out there, why add another? Instead of competing with the endless lists of must-see spots, we’re taking a different approach.

Our local insider, Laure P., shares her expert tips on how to turn your Parisian adventure into a delightful family affair. Discover the hidden gems, family-friendly activities, and charming spots that will make your trip not just memorable, but unforgettable for everyone.
Food and drinks:
Rent a bike and stroll along the Seine. The coast of Seine is now closed to cars so you can enjoy your family rides freely and safely. Have a drink in one of the boats by the Seine (Rosa Bonheur, Concorde Atlantique or Les Maquereaux)
Try one of the restaurants of chef Christian Constant: les Cocottes, café Constant or Violon d'Ingres, all located at Rue Saint Dominique

Book a table at Frenchie at Rue du Nil 75002 for some contemporary French food!
Have a break at Carette, place des Vosges for hot chocolate and pastries!

Delicious(ly viral) steak and fries at Le Relais de l'Entrecôte
Head to Bar de la Croix Rouge for a glass of champagne and delicious tartines where you can enjoy observing authentic Parisian crowd.

A true Parisian classic, Le Relais de l'Entrecôte is legendary for its steak-frites and the elusive, secret sauce. The mystery behind the sauce is part of its charm, no one but the chefs knows the recipe, and attempts to duplicate it have all fallen short. Rumour has it that when Paul Gineste de Saur passed the franchise to his daughters, one refused to share the recipe with the other, leaving the Relais de l’Entrecôte locations outside France slightly off the mark. Whether that's true or just a bit of Parisian lore, this spot should definitely be on your itinerary for an authentic Parisian weekend.
Places to visit:
La cité des sciences
Science museum with a permanent exhibition for children. Your family can engage in experimenting and exploring a series of fun and educational activities divided into thematic areas.
Le jardin d'acclimatation
A true family affair! The one and only leisure Park in Paris, in the Bois de Boulogne. This is an ideal place to come with your children, filled with rollercoaster and carousel kind of fun, but also a place to discover nature and animals ( a home to the most beautiful and educational farm in inner Paris).
