In our facility, all children are special and we have a special education approach for all of them. If your child has a situation that requires special needs, we can apply different lessons and provide support according to their needs.
Our aim is to accustom all our children to water activities, to learn by enjoying swimming and having fun.
We start our swimming lessons with aqua-gym, our pregnant program in the womb. Thanks to special exercises, babies start training together with the mother. Then, as soon as the babies are born (as soon as their belly drops), we start the baby spa program in our special tubs and continue classes for up to 3 months (the time required for the immune system to develop).
We continue our swimming lessons in the pool from 3 months and continue our lessons until the age of 8.
We offer group lessons or private lessons at the pool. We recommend that you decide together with the teacher after the trial lesson which is more suitable for your child.
We wish you a good lesson!
We recommend that you attend classes 1, 2 or 3 times a week. Of course, the more often it happens, the more it will contribute to the development of children.
Our lessons last 30 minutes for 0 - 1.5 years old and 45 minutes for 1.5 - 8 years old.
These are the standard hours of children's activities according to the physical conditions of these ages.
In our facility, we apply swimming lessons with two different methods, group lessons and private lessons.
Group Lessons: It is held together with the parents (due to the pandemic, our groups are only for 4 people) accompanied by a teacher.
Private Lessons: One-to-one with a teacher.
During the trial lesson, you can determine the type of lesson according to your baby/child's adaptation to the water and the environment, by talking to your instructor.
Your baby/child will determine which one is more suitable for you.
Class times should be adjusted according to our children.
When you are just starting classes, you should not think that your child will immediately begin to work wonders. Sometimes the first swimming lesson can be a little hectic.
Especially if it's their first time seeing this much water or if there was a bad incident with water in the past. Our golden rule for the pool to provide maximum benefit to the child is, above all, that the lessons are fun and happy. Children should be taught to swim without forcing them. We just have to help them adapt.
Because when classes start, sometimes they may not be able to adapt to the water immediately. The easiest way is to start classes in the tub (up to 0-3 months) as soon as she is born (as soon as her belly falls off) and then continue lessons in the pool. Then the children can quickly adapt to the pool.
Babies' lessons should be one-on-one with the parent or with an instructor, depending on preferences. Thus, they do not feel alone in the water and, with the adult example, learn not to be afraid of water. Although the duration of our lessons is 30-45 minutes, it can vary according to age. When you come to the lesson for the first time, even 20 minutes may be enough, and in this case, you should try not to force your child in the first lesson.
On the other hand, having your lessons in groups can increase your child's interest and help them overcome their fears in a group of children of the same age. He tries to repeat the same movements with his friend in the group and thanks to him, he can learn to swim more quickly. If the group does not like the lessons, if he wants a calmer and quieter environment, it will be useful to start private lessons. You have to decide this together.
If your baby learns to stay on the surface safely and breathe properly, it only means that you are not wasting your time.
And let's not forget... It's never too late to learn to swim.
We trust our esteemed parents as we know that the report received at the beginning of the education during our long-term lessons will not ensure continuity. Because we know that when your baby is sick or has a fever, you won't bring him and his friends to class so as not to risk it.
We know that your baby is your most valuable asset. Even if you bring your baby to class without noticing that he has a fever, our instructors may warn you to attend the lesson when they realize that there is a situation that prevents your baby from entering the lesson.
We hope you will understand this situation. You will be able to use your make-up lessons for the lessons you could not attend due to health problems.
There is no cap requirement for swimming lessons until the age of 0 - 3. But from the age of 3, we need to teach our children the importance of pool hygiene and get used to the bonnets.
On the other hand, it is absolutely mandatory for our parents and teachers to wear caps.
In our lessons, we can provide the use of glasses even at the youngest ages. You can consult with your trainer when glasses should be purchased and worn.
We know that our parents have fears of getting water in their babies' ears. But we can easily say with medical support that they don't need to worry. Because physiologically, the inner ear structure of babies is very different from their parents.
To explain this situation briefly...
The ear canal of babies is straight, short and wide, so water can come out easily. Therefore, it is sufficient to hold it in an upright position for 2-3 minutes or in a gas removal position for water to come out of the ear. As children grow, the internal structure of their ears changes and, like their parents, their ear canals become curved, long and thin.
In the event that children get water in their ears, the child will be supported by expert trainers.
Our pool was designed and built exclusively for the use of our babies and children. Our pool water is heated to 32 degrees, and the air temperature around the pool is 30-31 degrees. In this way, we prevent our children from getting cold while they are in the water or when they get out of the pool.
While our pool is cleaned with the ozonation system, we enable you to follow our water values online from the screens inside the pool. In addition, our pools are analyzed by us 3 times a day and monthly tests are carried out regularly by professional laboratories and the Ministry of Health.
Bubu Island has different course packages/memberships for each branch separately or for the use of the entire facility (according to needs and requests).
You can become a monthly member on 1 per week (2 lessons per week or 3 lessons per week, depending on your preference) or we have long-term memberships.
Moreover, Bubu offers 10% discount to siblings.
Massage in babies is very important for both relaxation and development.
Since babies stand in embryonic position for 9 months in the mother's womb with closed feet and arms, the muscles always work in the form of closing, and in the form of opening, they start to work after birth.
Our job is to help those muscles open with massage. In addition, 90% of babies experience muscle trauma and contractions due to pressure and stress during birth. This problem can cause serious problems and restlessness in the first year of development of babies.
These problems that the baby will experience in the first year:
- sleep disturbance
- restlessness
- gas pains
- muscle contractions (neck, back, arms and legs, etc.)
In babies with muscle trauma and contraction, rotational movements, sitting, crawling and walking may be delayed. In order for babies not to experience these problems, it is beneficial to perform massage cures every 3 months from 3 months to 1 year old (3, 6, 9, 12 months new skill acquisition periods).
- It strengthens the muscles.
- It strengthens the baby's nervous and immune system.
- It is made to protect babies from diseases.
- Massage of the baby's abdomen relieves and relieves gas pains.
- It strengthens the abdominal muscles and helps digestion.
- Accelerates body development.
- It accelerates blood circulation and sends oxygen to the tissues.
- It activates the nervous system thanks to the physical effect on the baby's skin.
- It initiates an impulse current to the brain.
- It strengthens the bone structure.
- Provides Large and Small Motor development.
- It provides the development of the brain and psychological relaxation.
Baby Spa is performed with pre-pool water games and diving exercises in a separate tub, used only once for babies, until their immune systems are strengthened. Before entering the water in the tub, the baby's muscles are relaxed with massage and pre-water exercises are done, and then the lesson begins in the tub.
Babies make their preparations before the pool for the first 3 months without forgetting the reflexes in the mother's womb.
